Bad Pitch is a term in screenwriting that is said before pitching an idea that hasn’t been fully fleshed out with the intention of exploring it to see what it could lead to.

We here at Bad Pitch are a collective of three mates who want to show the world what film making means by bringing them along on the journey of discovering that answer.

Recently we found ourselves wanting to do more than what we were handed. Tired of just doing whatever work found its way to us, we decided to start making it ourselves. Since mid 2026, we’ve been meeting every week planning, shooting, and editing videos and films in the spare time we have between work, our personal lives, and our other commitments. Its a monumental task balancing it all but as we continue we’re learning more and more about how to balance it all.

It helps that we have a collective experience of over 30 Short Films, Music Videos, and Documentaries under our belt, equipping us with skills that make the time crunch much more manageable. We understand the struggles and challenges that go into filmmaking, and know how to overcome them. In saying that, we still strive with every shoot to keep expanding our knowledge and skill set, and to try and push ourselves outside of our comfort zones to make sure we don’t become complacent.

We are also taking our first step into the world of media by providing services such as acting showreel content which we’ll share more info on at a later date.
